Oregon Department of Education Highlights Cascade Across the State

Reading and writing is the foundation for learning! And Cascade is recognized around the state for doing this well.

The Oregon Department of Education visited Turner Elementary this year to see what we are doing, and they've created a video for the rest of the state to see how to teach literacy well!

This kind of teaching is happening in all our schools, and we are so proud of our staff. This is #everydaylearning at its best

Graduation Walks at Elementary Schools

Cascade is one district, kindergarten through 12th grade. One great tradition is our Graduation Walk, where graduating seniors go back to their elementary schools and walk the halls.

It honors the seniors, honors the teachers who taught them early in the career, and it sets a vision for the elementary students for what this is all about!

See more pictures and video from Aumsville Elementary on our Facebook page; Graduation Walks happened at the same time at Turner Elementary and Cloverdale Elementary.

Wednesday evening was high school graduation, but it all starts in Kindergarten! That same afternoon, Turner Elementary invited family to celebrate the graduating kindergartners!

High School Band and Choir Trip to Southern California

On May 16th, 60 talented band and choir students headed to Southern California for an unforgettable trip! From the Santa Monica Pier to the Griffith Park Observatory—and of course, magical moments at Disneyland—both groups made amazing memories.

Students wowed the crowds with performances in the park and even took part in a special backstage recording workshop! Huge shoutout to the 15 incredible chaperones who kept the fun rolling—true MVPs!

Turner Elementary Talent Show

On Thursday, Turner Elementary students wowed us with their talents!

From singing solos to impressive pogo stick tricks, our brave students took to the stage and shone. You can see more picture on our Facebook page.

We’re so proud of everyone who stepped outside their comfort zone to perform. What an amazing showcase of courage and creativity!

Summer Meal Programs

When school is not in session, Summer Meal Programs can help fill the nutrition gap children may face without access to school meals.

Summer Meal Programs include the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and the Seamless Summer Option (SSO). Children and teens between the ages of 1 and 18 are eligible to receive meals at no charge under both of these programs. This page contains information that applies to both the SFSP and the SSO. For program-specific information, please click on the appropriate program button to visit its program page.
