Principal’s Message

October 2026

We are well into another school year at Cascade High School.  Our students are learning, growing and developing knowledge and skills that they will carry with them throughout their lives.  Things are busy here!  Exams, clubs, music, sports, spirit weeks, quizzes, student presentations, and projects are dominating our students’ time.  We believe that these actions are building our students up and helping them find and develop their strengths and talents.  

Cascade High School has a rich tradition of building up the next generation of citizens in our community.  Here are some of our recent accomplishments:

• More than 94% of Cascade Seniors have graduated each of the last 5 years.

• More than 200 students earned local college credit at Cascade High School during the 2025-2026 school year

• We offer more than 12 courses that offer college credit or are taught at the Advanced Placement level..

• We have 6 certified CTE (career and technical education) programs on our campus:  - - - Culinary Arts, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Auto Mechanics, Health Services, Business

• Cascade has a strong partnership with Willamette Career Academy. Our students can spend part of their school day studying cosmetology, pre-engineering, construction, health services, dental hygiene, and diesel mechanics.

• More than half of Cascade High School Students participate in interscholastic sports.

• Our band, choir and drama departments share their skills with our community.  Each program has won honors in the last year.

• We have after school clubs and tutoring that more than 150 students take advantage of.

It is easy to see how everything we do here at Cascade is focused on helping our students enter life after high school with as many opportunities as possible.  Our actions are rooted in our foundational values and principles.  For almost 20 years, these principles have guided every action, program and class:

These principles will continue to guide us in the years to come!
