Cloverdale 5th Grade Science Fair

Fifth Graders at Cloverdale Elementary got to show off their creativity and hard work at the Science Fair! Family members came to see and hear what the students studied and learned. The variety was so cool!

Aumsville Potato Biography Extravaganza

The Potato Biography Extravaganza was a super fun part of Aumsville Elementary on Thursday! The students chose someone they were interested in and wrote a biography about them, and the only requirement was to create a display that used a potato.

Students were so creative! These pictures come from Mrs. Miller's room, but all the fourth graders took part and showed their family members. Helen Keller, Michael Jordan, Ruby Bridges, Amelia Earhart, Katy Perry, Houdini ("The Great Spudini"), Rosa Parks, and so many more were there.

You can see more pictures on our Facebook page.

Free Sports Physicals

Any student participating in Cascade Athletics needs to complete a sports physical. There are four upcoming free clinics that can get this done.

The one at Cascade High School is on Tuesday, Aug. 5th, but students can go to any of the options that work with their schedule.

Summer EBT Benefits Return

Oregon Summer EBT is a federal benefits program to help families buy food for their school-aged children during the summer.

Each eligible child receives a one-time payment of $120 in food benefits. Even though Cascade provides free meals to all students, not all students will qualify for Summer EBT.

Families who didn't automatically get Summer EBT on May 22, 2025 should check program requirements and see if you qualify, and then apply. Families can check requirements at sebt.oregon.gov or call 833-673-7328. You can apply online or with a paper application in English and Spanish at sebt.oregon.gov.
